Ṣadaqa Jāriya · Beneficial Knowledge
"The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allāh is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allāh multiplies for whom He wills. And Allāh is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing."
— Qur'ān, Sūrat al-Baqara 2:261
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuing charity (ṣadaqa jāriya), beneficial knowledge (ʿilm yuntafaʿu bihi), or a righteous child who supplicates for him."
— Reported in both Shīʿa and Sunnī corpora
Every Lantern book is more than ink and paper — it is a vessel for ʿilm yuntafaʿu bihi, beneficial knowledge that flows long after we are gone. When you support a forthcoming work, you become part of an unbroken chain of barakah: every reader who learns from these books, every student whose understanding deepens, every soul that draws closer to the tradition — the reward continues, in shā'a Allāh, to be written for you and your loved ones.
More projects coming soon.
Contributions here support all forthcoming and developing works at Lantern Kids — translation, editing, design, and the careful labour that brings each book into being.
